Owner and chef Vassilis Kallimoukos was born and raised in Athens. He studied Mass Media & Communication, but quickly found his true passion in cooking; and received his diploma in Culinary Arts in Athens in 2005. Since then, he has been cooking professionally as a private chef for luxury yachts and private homes in Greece.
Vassilis is passionate for the Mediterranean cuisine, especially the Greek culinary tradition, for its simplicity in techniques and memories of taste and flavor. He firmly believes in fresh, seasonal produce and takes pride in collecting vegetables and herbs from his own garden. Strongly committed to providing guests with an authentically local and sustainable dining gastro experience, Vassilis is constantly building lasting relationships with dedicated regional farmers, breeders and fishermen.
